Announcement: Indian Visa Su-Swagatam Mobile App

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has launched the ‘Indian Visa Su-Swagatam’ Mobile App – a one-stop platform for all visa-related services for foreigners visiting India.

2. The facility has now been extended to all 195 countries (earlier 60 countries). The App also provides a new service for OCI cardholders through the Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Travellers Programme (FTI-TTP), ensuring faster, smoother and more secure immigration clearance.

3. The App is designed as a comprehensive travel companion, offering visa application (regular, e-Visa, VoA), access to 10 frequently used e-FRRO services, and useful information on tourist destinations, hotels, hospitals, yoga & spirituality, transport, and government agencies. With multilingual support, chatbot assistance, and alerts for visa expiry, the App makes travel to India simpler, safer, and more convenient.

Salient features of the App:
1. It is a one-stop solution to all requirements of foreigners related to their visit to India.
2. It has value added services and a single point access for Indian visa and for availing visa-related services in India under e-FRRO module.
3. Location-based services for travel and tourism – nearest tourist places, hotels, hospitals, yoga & spirituality, transport, entertainment etc.
4. Access to Essential Information (Medical, Safety, Police, Hospital, FRROs, Embassy).
5. User Registration, Visa application and Foreigner facilitation with Multilingual Support in 13 Foreign Languages.
6. Eligibility and Fee Calculator provided.
7. Filling of e-Visa form with partially filled functionality and Payment integration with Axis Bank and SBI.
8. Filling of Regular visa online form with partially filled functionality. Document and Fee need to be submitted in the concerned Indian Mission after printing the filled application form.
9. Filling of Visa on Arrival (VoA) form in three languages (Japanese, Korean & Arabic) with PDF generation. 
10. Retrieval of partially filled e-Visa/Regular Visa form from Desktop, Mobile and vice versa.
11. e-submission of Form-C application (a registration requirement for hotels, guest houses and other accommodations that host foreigners).
12. Fast Track Immigration – Trusted Travellers Programme (FTI-TTP) for OCI cardholders.
13. Language assistance – Text and Audio (Google Trial version).
14. Switching on/off location services optional.
15. Chatbot facility on FAQs and General Instructions.
16. Facility for checking status of visa application and for visa-related services in India. Status of (e-Visa and Regular Visa) based on Nationality, Passport No & Date of Birth with Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) download facility available.
17. Alerts to foreigners regarding expiry of visa – weekly alerts 30 days in advance and daily alerts 15 days in advance.
18. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have been incorporated in the Mobile App.
