As part of the ongoing celebrations of the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2025), the High Commission of India, Nicosia, in collaboration with The Falcon School, organised an inspiring yoga event on the school premises in Nicosia.

Themed on this year’s global message, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the event brought together enthusiastic students and dedicated faculty members for two energizing sessions aimed at promoting holistic health, mental clarity, and well-being.

The sessions saw active participation as young minds embraced yoga’s timeless values of mindfulness, discipline, and inner peace. Donning vibrant #IDY2025 T-shirts, all participants engaged wholeheartedly in guided yoga practices led by trained instructors.

To mark the occasion, participation certificates were presented to all students, while a Partnership Certificate was awarded to The Falcon School in appreciation of their collaboration and support.

This engagement served as a meaningful step toward strengthening educational and cultural ties between India and Cyprus, and reaffirmed India’s global leadership in wellness diplomacy through yoga.

The High Commission extends its heartfelt thanks to The Falcon School for their enthusiastic involvement and continued partnership.
