High Commissioner Mr. Manish Hosts Launch of India–Greece–Cyprus Business & Investment Council

The High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, Mr. Manish, hosted a distinguished gathering to mark the launch of the India–Greece–Cyprus Business & Investment Council (IGC). The event brought together prominent figures from government, industry, and innovation sectors, underlining the strategic importance of trilateral cooperation in business and investment.

In his remarks, the High Commissioner highlighted India’s strong economic growth and emphasized its status as the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem, with more than 160,000 recognized startups. He spoke about the vast potential for collaboration among India, Cyprus, and Greece in sectors such as clean energy, digital innovation, and defense manufacturing.

The event also celebrated two key milestones:

• The inauguration of LTIMindtree’s AI and Digital Centre at the CYENS Centre of Excellence

• The launch of TCI EURO – Travel Circle International Cyprus Ltd, which aims to enhance tourism connectivity between the regions

These initiatives reflect a shared commitment to fostering sustainable growth, innovation, and strategic alignment among India, Cyprus, and Greece.
