High Commissioner Engages with Business Leaders’ Club in Limassol

As part of ongoing efforts to deepen economic diplomacy and promote bilateral commercial engagement, High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, Mr. Manish, held an interactive session with prominent members of the Business Leaders’ Club in Limassol.

The event brought together senior investors, business owners, corporate executives, and entrepreneurs representing key sectors such as real estate, finance, technology, shipping, and innovation. The engagement provided an important platform to highlight the shared economic interests between India and Cyprus, and to explore new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.

In his address, the High Commissioner:

  • Highlighted the growing economic and investment ties between India and Cyprus

  • Shared key takeaways and positive business outcomes from the recent visit of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to Cyprus

  • Called for enhanced collaboration in the areas of trade, investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship

Following the interactive session, the High Commissioner held individual meetings with several business leaders, many of whom expressed strong interest in expanding their engagement with India, particularly in areas related to fintech, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.

The High Commission of India reiterated its commitment to supporting these initiatives and to facilitating a conducive environment for deepening bilateral business partnerships.

This event reflects the shared vision of both India and Cyprus to strengthen economic ties, expand commercial exchanges, and unlock the full potential of the India–Cyprus economic corridor.
