Bilateral Defence Cooperation Programme (BDCP) 2026

India and Cyprus marked a significant step forward in their strategic partnership with the signing of the Bilateral Defence Cooperation Programme (BDCP) 2026, alongside an enhanced maritime cooperation framework.
The agreement was signed in the presence of High Commissioner Mr. Manish and Lt. General Pachoulides Neophytos, Deputy Chief of Defence, Cyprus.
High Commissioner described the development as a forward-looking step that strengthens mutual trust and reinforces the long-term strategic convergence between India and Cyprus.
