About the Festival
Namaste Cyprus is the flagship cultural festival of the High Commission of India in the Republic of Cyprus. It celebrates the depth and diversity of India’s cultural heritage while highlighting the growing friendship between India and Cyprus.
The 2025 edition will take place on Sunday, 14 September 2025 at the “Marios Tokas” Municipal Garden Theatre, Limassol, and is free and open to the public.
Namaste Cyprus has become a landmark cultural event in Cyprus, attracting audiences from across the island, including the Indian diaspora, Cypriot families, students, and cultural enthusiasts.
Programme Highlights
Dance Performances
The stage will showcase some of India’s most celebrated dance forms:
Classical Dances such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi, and Kuchipudi.
Folk Dances capturing the colour and energy of India’s regional traditions. These performances combine storytelling, rhythm, and artistry, providing audiences with a glimpse of India’s timeless cultural expression.
Singing Performances
The musical segment will include:
Classical and semi-classical music reflecting India’s rich traditions.
Devotional and popular songs performed by talented diaspora and community singers.
